Rufus Burns is an American television, theatre and film actor.
He was born in West Palm Beach, Florida to Dorothy S. Burns and Little R. Burns. He discovered his passion for acting while studying at Purdue University, in West Lafayette, Indiana. There he attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Acting.
He went on to study at the University of Missouri – Kansas City’s professional actor training program where he received his Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting in 2012.
