1- How to access the best AI to make (proper) infographics.

It’s no surprise I’m talking about Nano-Banana-Pro from Gemini.

The newest image model from Google is all the rage right now.

Like, come on, how did it get so good in 3 months???

Same prompt.

One is ok (on the left).

The other one is indistinguishable from reality (on the right).

This is it, guys. Game over.

We are in a post-truth world (at least for images).

You cannot believe any picture you see online and assume AI can replicate it.

“Sure, Ruben, AI is so good at creating people. But what about being useful for my job?? I need accurate, error-free infographics!”

Same. I also need that for my Linkedin.

And before Nano-Banana-Pro, it just wasn’t possible.

Infographics had mistakes that would make them impossible to generate.

But today marks the first step to useful infographics entirely made by AI.

Here’s how to access Nano-Banana (the new one) before copying my prompts:

  1. Go to gemini.google.com.

  2. Click on “Tools” and select “🍌 Create images”.

  3. Make sure to turn on “Thinking” on the bottom right.

Ok, so you now know which AI is best for an infographic.

Time to know the “how” with copy-and-paste prompts.

Let’s dive in.

2 - The list of the best prompts to create infographics with AI.

I will go through 9 use cases of Nano-Banana-Pro for infographics, with prompts.

1 - Create an infographic from [source].

It’s the classic.

Prompt: “Create an infographic on [topic], in a minimalistic (black and white) but ultra-detailed style.”

For example, “Create an infographic on the academic paper, in a minimalistic (black and white) but ultra-detailed style: UNIVERSE OF THOUGHTS: ENABLING CREATIVE”

Image: https://ibb.co/tpfv0w41.

2 - From YouTube to Infographic.

First, go to YouTube and copy the link of a video.

Then copy and paste this:

Prompt: “Analyze this video and its learnings: [youtube link].

We will then use your analysis to create an infographic out of it.”

Once done, do this.

Prompt: “Now create an infographic on this YouTube video. Be as detailed as possible, with a sketch style. Avoid futuristic style.”

Image: https://ibb.co/F4w5wB8s.

3 - Complex infographics.

Prompt: “Make an infographic that explains how the transformer LLM works.”

Image: https://ibb.co/8GH907t.

Prompt: “Make an infographic that explains how the quantum effects work in nature.”

Image: https://ibb.co/V0Zntzyp.

Prompt: “Make an infographic that explains the functioning of the heart.”

4 - Complex prompting works too.

Prompt: “A step-by-step tutorial graphic titled ‘Secret Hacks for Confident Speaking”. Create a clean, flat-design infographic with four steps, each inside rounded boxes: (1) Embrace the silence before starting, (2) Reframe anxiety as excitement, (3) Lower vocal pitch at sentence ends, (4) Lock eyes with one person at a time. Use minimal vector-style illustrations, deep navy and energetic coral color palette, clear sans-serif English text, simple icons, and a modern layout. Include a large header banner at the top and numbered steps below. White background, high contrast, 16:9 aspect ratio, high-resolution 4K. Be as detailed as possible.”

5 - Your Linkedin profile, as the Lord of the Rings.

Kudos to Nate for this prompt.

I made this Lord of the Rings themed map of Andrej Karpathy’s career path in about 2 minutes in Nano Banana Pro.

Here’s how:

  1. Grab a PDF of your LinkedIn profile.

  2. Hit Nano Banana Pro with the PDF (I recommend AI Studio for 4k resolution).

  3. Ask it to please create a fun career map of your resume using X theme, and specifically ask it to include relevant allusions or metaphors that connect your resume to your chosen theme, so the career map feels coherent. Remind Nano Banana Pro to write all text legibly and clearly.

And that’s it!

6 - From transcript to infographic.

Prompt:

“Generate an image. Turn this transcript into a cheatsheet with key takeaways, and give the final output as a 9:16 image. [PASTE FULL TRANSCRIPT]”

Image: https://ibb.co/ksvQLSND.

7 - Landmark on a map.

Prompt: “Make a landmark map of the city of Paris with 3D landmarks.”

Image

8 - Infographic for biology.

Prompt: “Generate a diagram of the life cycle of a mushroom from spore to fruiting body.”

Image

9 - The mega prompt.

This is the most complete prompt I could make.

I am making a video using it down below, while writing a Linkedin post alongside it. FYI, I reach over a million impressions per day on Linkedin.

Design a [ASPECT RATIO] infographic.

## SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: [TOPIC]

Central Focus: [MAIN IDEA]

## VISUAL STYLE

Art Style: [SPECIFIC STYLE NAME]

Color Palette: [PRIMARY COLORS] + [ACCENT COLOR]

Background: [BACKGROUND TYPE]

## COMPOSITION & LAYOUT

Copy my Linkedin style at the end of this newsletter. It’s a paid, member-only perk.
