Regent Park Film Festival (RPFF) invites schools from across the country to participate in our Annual School Program, running online, concurrently with our Annual Regent Park Film Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RPFF\u2019s Annual School Program provides free media-literacy programming to educators and students across Canada<\/span> in Grades 1-8. <\/span>In conjunction with our Annual Film Festival, RPFF’s School Program reaches over 48,000 students both in-person and online each November<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RPFF curates a film series around various themes which address a myriad of social issues affecting Toronto\u2019s diverse student population. We also provide resources and lesson plans for educators<\/strong> to help them facilitate dialogue among their students about these issues, as well as critical conversations about art, creativity, and all students’ lived experiences. These learning tools are created by RPFF’s Education Committee, comprised of teachers, teacher candidates, and individuals with a strong interest in film education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Annual Film Festival is a fun and thought-provoking outing for students, while our online program is accessible to educators and students for two weeks to provide flexibility integrating the programming into existing learning plans in the classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PLEASE NOTE: <\/strong>\u00a0Unfortunately, due to a reduction in funding RPFF is unable to host our in-person Annual School Program this year.\u00a0All programming will be available online only<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Absolutely love your organization. Students loved seeing themselves represented in the films. For an Ethiopian student to give the feedback to me that they loved the film because there was an Ethiopian kid in the film, well, you just can’t beat that!!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
