I've found a new favorite radio station: San Francisco's 70s Hits. I've had it streaming via my iPhone and the magic of AirPlay to the loungeroom all morning. Trust San Francisco to give us something so wonderful.

I'm always looking for iPad/iPhone clients for LiveJournal. I've not yet found any that are usable enough to get me posting again. This one is Vita, which is an iPhone app that I'm trying out on my iPad in 2x mode.

I'm trying out my iPad dock keyboard with LiveJournal, thinking that maybe this will be the encouragement I need to start blogging again. It works fine, although it isn't compatible with the Apple iPad case, so I have to get a case that I can remove easily when I want to use it (the Apple iPad case is so tight, it's not really a option if you want to put it off and back on regularly).

I don't mind buying myself a new case. When I bought the iPad on Day One it was really the only option and I didn't want to leave the store without having my precious in a case. WIth all the bad reviews it had recieved, I didn't expect to like it at all and was going to buy a new one as soon as they started appearing. But in fact I did like it - a lot - and until now I"ve not had a reason to even think about replacing it.

Tram Tweets

On the 5 Malvern Tram this morning:

roybear Running late for woik, but not stressed about it. Enjoying a tall double-shot skim latte on the tram.

roybear On a non-aircon tram, it's muggy and crowded. The woman sitting across from me just closed the window and gave me stinkeye. Bitch.

roybear Window fell open again of it's own accord. Old tram. I returned the stinkeye. I knew my hateful silence would triumph.

roybear My arch nemesis has left the tram. We exchanged looks-that-could-kill on her departure. Stretching out now to celebrate my victory.

Saturday

Brunch at Provenance, but it was not my day. I was thrown off my usual table 'cause they had a last-minute large group show up, they were out of avocado so I couldn't have my usual avocado-and-vegemite on toast (and instead settled for two pieces of fruit toast the size of postage stamps), and to top all that off the wireless was too flaky to be of any use. Still, the coffee was good.

Now the rest of the day will consist of washing and packing for my trip to Sydney, and a nap before woik.

During this week I went from only having watched the Pilot (back when it aired) to having watched all 13 of the thus-far aired episodes. I love it. I'll watch it all again with Dommie when I'm up there at Christmas.

Highlights of the half-season for me:
- My Life Would Suck Without You
- Kurt coming out to his Dad
- Kurt's Dad being such a hottie
- The Kiss in the final episode
- Any scene with Sue (even though she terrifies me - she's every female PE bitch I've ever encountered)
- The scene where Puck and Finn get it on, totally naked (I can dream, can't I?)
- Rachel doing Don't Rain On My Parade at the Sectionals (even though I hate this song. Yep, sorry, I missed out on the Streisand gene)

Went to Provenance for usual Thursday brunch. Did some work. Went to Vibe to have coffee with John-Michael, and also bumped into Les (leswozere), Mike, Dale and Ian who were having lunch there.

Cooking a roast for Adamm and Shaun tonight.

Strangely optimistic today. I feel good.

Slept most of the day after a particularly gruelling shift at Club 80 (it was a full moon after all, and it lived up to its reputation)

Got up and made minestrone (delicious - with enough left over for two lunches) and watched Electric Dreams. I've missed having this movie.

Skyped all-too-briefly with my beloved Dominic (cuboz) 'cause he was going to bed just as I was getting up. He's got an early start in the morning. Annoys me when we pass like ships in the night like this, but I'll be seeing him in a coupla weeks so it's not too bad.

Gotta go back to bed now to reset the bodyclock for the week ahead. 'Night.
