And then a CRASH!!! Toph throws her communicator as hard as she can at the wall, and everything falls silent.]

[There's a door SLAM, and a sort of silence between the two morons fretting over Toph without reason....

Then the door OPENS again with another slam] And give me my communicator while you're at it!!

GUESS WHO?![The comm hits the floor, to get a look at Sokka covering Toph's eyes and grinning like a moron. Toph, on the other hand, looks none too pleased.]

[The feed has been switching between off, video, and audio for some time now. During the moments of video one might see a clean white room, or maybe bedsheets and a glimpse of her green outfit, or on occasion nothing but darkness. You may have heard her sigh, move in her bed, or sniffle a little.

If you've tuned in to figure out if she were back yet in the last few hours, sorry, she's been avoiding talking to anybody. By now she's settled down and gotten over the fact she died, so she's a more pressing issue at hand.]

I need my chip out.

October, huh? Guess that makes me thirteen... [she flicks a booger to the side, obviously not all that thrilled. She then picks up the communicator, lays down on the couch, and all you can see is the ceiling.]

Hey! Construction team! I need a hand full of you on Latimir's fourth floor. There's a hole in it I didn't mention that needs some repair. We'll check it out tomorrow, won't take long.

As for the rest of you, Katara showed up here not to long ago. You know the drill: mess with her and I'll turn your face upside down. That makes all of us, right? Unless you forgot to mention any other new additions to the team, Sokka.

Toph here--fifth floor of Latimir's livable again, guys, so it's safe to head up there. Lost and found box up there, too, for anybody who wants the junk we found.

Construction team: take a break. If you're not busy, go help with building the safe house, I'm sure they could use the help.

Sorry about disappearing, I just needed out for a while. I'll be back home in a day or so... maybe, no guarantees. Good news, though--Jeanne, I got you a bed to sleep in. Sokka didn't need his old one anymore.

[If you've happened to tune into Toph's any time over the last six hours, you got yourself a video of her curled up in a ball just... sleeping. She's covered in dirt, her face has a deep scratch in it that's still bleeding, and hair is in complete disarray--no idea where her headband went, but it's obviously not on her head.

She stirs in the evening, reaching for the communicator. She picks up her head enough so her voice can be picked up.]

They've stopped coming mostly. I can still feel a few wandering around. They shouldn't be too much trouble.

How are you guys holding up? Horton's alright right? [She's talking to her roommates and friends there.] Everybody else? [Hoping her friends are okay.]

[...] And, everybody who's been helping up at Latimir for the fog--take a break and rest up. I expect all of you back up there ready to work afterward.

Okay, so starting tomorrow the reconstruction team is going to get working on Latimir. If you got any problems with noise, stuff some cotton balls in your ears--it's not my problem. [siigh] Also, can I get a couple of people to go with Minato to check on... his construction project? I don't want to have to re-fix it later.

Everybody else, my buddy Aang just showed up here, so nobody think about givin' him any trouble, got it? You do, and you're going to have to answer to me.

How are you setting in, by the way, Aang? Jeanne and Anna, too, getting used to things?

Alright people! I've got just a couple things to talk to you about! Let's start with the boring stuff:

I'm starting a reconstruction team. It's about time we started actually rebuilding this place. I know Latimir is a mess, and I hear Marshal lost a few floors. Jackie suggested I talk to Fuuka, Freeman, and Ed. If anybody else wants to help out, great. Lemme just list a few things:

Who's willing to work?
What will you provide?
Where can we get decent building supplies?
Can anybody supply supplies?
Where do we need to repair?
What's the damage?

That's all I can think of right now. I'll work out the details once we get this started.

Secondly! Tomorrow, how about a sledding party?! Down at the park, I'm going to get a huge hill set up to sled on! Everybody's invited! Might wanna bring your own sled, though, I've only got five metal sheets for sleds.

Zuko, Ty Lee, Horohoro, Haru, I expect you guys to be there. You too, Nunnally, but if you can't, that's alright.

Yoh, how are you feeling?

Eight Rocks ** video [Earthspikes are over--MAJOR QUAKE]

[The only reason the communicator turned on is because the video button was SMASHED against the wall when Toph threw the communicator. It falls just right so that it's angled to just barely see Yoh hanging from the ceiling an most of Toph's upper half. Her head is cast down. She looks to be mumbling to herself, growling slightly in disgust.

And suddenly the earth begins to shake. Softly at first, until the point where the communicator is put into a state of seizures. It grows over a span of thirty seconds, and if you listen very carefully, Toph can be heard cursing herself for everything. The earthquakes move the communicator towards her]

TOPH! [Suddenly, a brown clothed gentle man appears, stumbling as fast as he can, and lifts Toph off the ground. The earthquakes stop almost immediately, and good ol' Professor Layton can be seen in the corner of the screen. There's a muffled sound of sorts--crying?] ... There there, my dear... [He sees the communicator on on the ground, and bends over to turn it off.]

((OOC; OKAY PEOPLE! Few things--anybody who's running to the scene is welcome to join a comment log (please though, only ONE comment log which people may join into, whoever can start it) the EARTH-SPIKES PART of this event IS OVER. Earthquakes will still go until the 17th They'll be minor, and less frequent. and now, TO ANYBODY COMMENTING OVER THE NETWORK--please assume it's after Toph has calmed down.))

A-AH~.... It's good to be back to normal! Not sick, earth-bending back, free to do whatever~! Anyway, figured I'd just let you all know things are finally getting back to normal for me, so you won't need to worry about me or anything. Won't need this thing anymore! [referring to cane, which can be heard when it clatters to the other side of the room.] Better go tell the guys, too!

[This isn't seen, but she makes a "flying leap" out of bed, and lands on the floor. The first earthquake STRIKES Horton with a mighty shake.] YIKES!! [The communicator hit the floor just in time to catch a video of Toph falling onto her face, as well as one of the many spikes shooting down from the ceiling and into the floor in the background. She lays there a moment, then hits her head against the floor and earthquakes start up again. No, she doesn't care, and as the earth shakes, the communicator jazzes out, and the off button is hit as the bed side table falls on top of it.]

((ooc; FIRST AND WORST earthquake! From this point forward, just assume your own time for an earthquake. Toph doesn't give a crap that Horton is being shaken from its very foundation. As well as the floor spikes. OOC information HERE. Have fun, gaiz!))

This is awesome! I was starting to think that rain would never end.

[She leaves her communicator on while she addresses her roommates.] Guys! We should have a snowball fight soon as possible! [Then back to the communicator.]

Nunnally, you should come, too! It'll be awesome! Anybody else is welcome! We'll need some blankets or something to keep warm, but it shouldn't be that cold! Might not even need the blankets.

Sokka, did you move into Zuko's apartment yet? We need to do something--I don't care what, just something

Also! Russia, Italy told me about that you survived Latimir collapsing. I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed--you must be like... a super-nation or something.

[The communicator clicks on to a young Toph with her butt on the grounds, grumbling and scratching her head. Apparently it turned on when it dropped from her after falling for some reason. ]

Ow, what the heck just happened? I-- [She stops suddenly, frozen for a moment.] Wha--WHERE'S MY EARTH BENDING?!?!? [When she stands, only her legs can be seen, and she stomps the ground. She lets out a ferocious growl before she starts yelling again.]

Alright! Who's out there?! You better come out and explain what in the world is going on right now before I come and find you myself!!!!
