Clone is a smooth-surfaced sans serif that recharges the retro-mechanical for modern living. This quasi-monospaced family gives a nod to the quirks of overly engineered fonts with its vintage constructions but flexes enough to never sacrifice a natural reading experience. Clone is a lovechild of cyber-culture and genetic font modification taking inspiration from coding, technology, and industry.
The sharp-edged Clone is the genetic hub of the system, an adept core for building user interfaces and other structured typographic compositions. The Clone collection, designed by Lasko Džurovski, also includes the organic Clone Rounded: a metric-compatible alternative ready to swap places as needed. Even more variants are still in the making. Being a true Pan-European (PE) family, Clone supports Latin, Greek, Cyrillic (including Serbian, Macedonian, and Bulgarian) and provides a solid complement of OpenType features, alternate forms for selected letters, and signature flock-of-sheep pictograms.
