Methodology
How this track record works ▼What counts as a pick? Every stock featured in a Root Logic deep-dive article with a published price target. Each publication is tracked independently — if a stock is covered twice, both entries appear with their own start price and date.
Start price: The closing price on the day the article was published. This is locked at publication and never adjusted.
Current price: Live market price from Yahoo Finance, refreshed every 60 seconds. GBP-denominated stocks (LSE) are shown in pounds.
Gain: Simple return from start price to current price. CAGR: Annualised compound return, shown only for picks held more than 30 days.
Base case & Bull case: Valuation targets published in the original article. The progress bars show how far the current price has moved toward each target.
No cherry-picking: Every pick is included. Losers stay visible. There is no survivorship bias — this is the complete record.
