I hope you are able to see yourself as others do, you clearly have a beautiful soul. Your poetry takes me on a rollercoaster of emotions, some days are harder than others however it always reminds me that I’m not alone. Thank you 😊
How have you gathered a lifetime of maturity at such a young age! You have become the most incredible you the world doesn’t deserve , but we will sit back, with the sun you brought in our faces celebrating your caring compassion for us all! All the best my hero! Sam
Beautiful writing from an equally brilliant and beautiful human being. Talent is unmatched, beauty like none I’ve seen before! I hope whoever she finally finds is smart enough to realize how lucky he truly is!
Love love love everything . Howdy! , i have been listening to your podcasts for a while now and also have seen you on youtube . you truly are an exceptional human soul who deserves such great things ( you know that ) and i wanted you to know that your podcasts and your poems have been a support for me and an inspiration for love , friendship and emotional things , so thank you :) . i really really resonated with the anxiety video and listen to it when i feel anxious . thank you , so damn much :3.
“Who would I be without anxiety? What if I was brave enough to be the person I needed when I was younger? It’s a scary thought but what if you can protect yourself now?” GAG. This hurt me in such a good way woah
I think this blog format is really great because it allows you to include the other channels of your Romantica world! One thing you're touching on here is the "End-of-history" illusion. A book I read highlighted this and psychologist Dan Gilbert said "The one constant in our life, is change."
I have enjoyed reading your thoughts on life. I'd recommend David Eagleman's book The Brain: The Story of You. You gave us a chronology of ages, all of which fall into that space in brain development that makes us crazy. At 25 your brain is just 'adult' enough to begin to rationalize and make good decisions. The thing is, bad decisions are your best teacher. I keep them like arrows to reuse. I can pull out that bad decision and know what not to do. Eventually, if you keep your bad decisions to a minimum, you can call yourself an adult. (using the royal YOU in discussion of the brain) My wife and I lived near SF right after we married, 45 years ago. We enjoy poetry, art, and BBQ, living in Texas now. My writing is published, and I have four books scheduled for the next two years in my name - W.D. Edmiston.
