This hoe is a beast. I even use it to break up the clay dirt clods removed from the hard soil. Occasional sharpening is all it needs. My kids, kids will still be using this after I’m long gone.

This is my first “real” Hoe, i got it for breaking up sod, well..i also now use it for maintaining weeds in pathways, on the edges of beds, and for shaping soil after turning it with a shovel, this thing will also cut right through inch thick roots in one or two swipes if you keep it sharp. amazing tool i’ll be keeping this around the remainder of my life.
The only downside is being the big boy it is, for weeding or using the sides of it for smaller areas, it can be kinda clumsy feeling. but this is made for big work so i don’t know that it’s necessarily a downside but i loved this tool and this company and the steel so much that i bought a smaller hoe from them for the finesse work.
