Though I’m not a Catholic, I’ve been trying to surrender judgment for lent. My God it’s hard! More than a couple of difficult people with whom I must interact, it’s the very small things in my life that get me. I’m a creature of routine, so when my wife suggested we try a new sushi place in a less bourgie town near us, I immediately pre-judged it. Even though she told me it got stellar reviews, how could it be that good?
