ROC USA provides opportunities for communities to receive grants or other support to make a wide range of improvements. We also serve as a national intermediary providing opportunities for communities to receive resources to further their own goals for their community\u2019s improvement.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/header>\n\n\n

Better Together Grants<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ve given ROCs more than $200,000 for wide-ranging community improvements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Better Together Grants are funded by ROC USA and awarded by the ROC Association Directors each year. Grants of up to $2,000 are typically available for each winner. Any ROC with a current or past Technical Assistance contract with a ROC USA Certified TA Provider is eligible to apply. There are typically no grant categories, so anything from a building or repair project to rebranding and marketing to improving community engagement is eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the past, ROCs have been awarded money to: replace community signs, build playgrounds, repair\/build bus shelters and mail kiosks, replace sewage pumps, install speed bumps and create community gardens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recipients of the previous year’s grants are not eligible for the current year’s funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
