Rocky Mountain Prep Announces CEO Finalists
The Rocky Mountain Prep Board of Directors has identified the following finalists for the position of Chief Executive Officer:
Yana Smith – Interim CEO at Rocky Mountain Prep and longtime leader with more than 25 years of experience supporting schools, students, and communities. Yana helped lead Denver Public Schools’ turnaround efforts, and has held leadership roles at Teach For America, The Colorado League of Charter Schools, and Community College of Denver, among other organizations.
Natalie Rubio – Founding Executive Director at Single Mom Scholars Houston and a dedicated leader with more than 20 years of experience focused on expanding opportunity for students and families. Natalie has served in leadership roles at Houston ISD, YES Prep Public Schools, and IDEA Public Schools, among other organizations.
Justin Scott – Currently the Founder and Executive Director of Aliento Colorado, Justin was previously the Chief Schools Officer at RMP. He has more than 25 years of experience as an educator, principal, and superintendent of KIPP Texas Public Schools – Austin.
The Board looks forward to engaging with finalists as part of the final stage of the selection process.
