GUDP (Grønt Udviklings- & Demonstrationsprogram), or the Green Development and Demonstration Program, supports innovative, sustainable projects across Denmark’s food sector. These projects focus on combining green solutions with economic sustainability to drive the green transition. The initiative is managed by the Danish Agriculture Agency (Landbrugsstyrelsen).
In 2025, the Danish government allocated DKK 169.5 million to GUDP grants, funding 24 new sustainability projects. Rockstart was one of the recipients, securing DKK 1,840,873 to launch the Biochar Network—a platform that connects key stakeholders to collaborate, innovate, and shape a more sustainable future.
