When I began working for the Palisades Interstate Park Commission, my task was to find ways to better engage the public with our region's parks and historic sites.  In joining the RBA I immediately had access to a wide spectrum of business leaders keen on collaborative thinking.  Attendance soared.  Team building events flourished.  We put on a fantastic ice festival together.  Al Samuels' decades of work on the front lines of business and government has paid off in creating the area's most respected and widely used networking organization, the Rockland Business Association.   

The Rockland Business Association has been integral in the success of my travel company, EDU Trips. During the hard and unpredictable twists and turns of COVID, RBA connected me with like-minded business owners who helped guide me through PPP and economic disaster loans, among many other things. I truly appreciate this community and the networking opportunities it has provided.

As the owner of Rockland Professional Services, an Accounting and Consulting firm, I have been a proud member of the Rockland Business Association (RBA) since December 2016.  I have actively participated in monthly lunch meetings, several subsidiary council meeting (e.g., Economic and Government Affairs, Technology Initiative, and REBOP), as well as summer outings, golf outings, and networking events. Through the RBA, I've connected with prospective clients, strategic partners, local politicians, and community leaders. I deeply value my membership and the advocacy that the RBA provides for my business and the community.

The RBA has a very long and decorated track record of advocacy and support for the county's business community. The organization has been especially helpful to Veolia, one of the county's largest employers, but its reach touches businesses of all sizes and disciplines. We truly value our partnership with RBA and recognize the critical role that it plays in the county.

As the CEO and President of Atlantic and a proud member of the Rockland Business Association for over 20 years, I can confidently say that the RBA has been instrumental in shaping the success of my business and so many others in our community. The networking opportunities offered by the RBA have allowed me to forge invaluable connections with fellow business leaders, while their unwavering commitment to business advocacy ensures that the interests of local businesses are always a top priority.

The RBA's educational resources—ranging from workshops to seminars—have provided me with insights and strategies to continuously grow and adapt in an ever-changing business landscape. Moreover, their focus on community engagement has deepened my connection to Rockland County, creating a sense of unity and purpose among businesses.
