Our ego is not life.
It is not alive.
But we believe it is.
We identify with it, as ourselves.
It is filled with mind, emotions, imagination, and memories.
They create an artificial existence for us.
An illusion within our consciousness.
One that we serve without question.
One protected by fear.
We are therefore cutoff from the rest of our consciousness.
A consciousness hidden within us in our feelings.
We have forgotten it.
Our ego, mind, and emotions see to it.
They create a cloud of conscious deceptions.
An artifical self for an artificial creation.
We are trapped in it by fear.
Until our ego is broken.
It is then that we will see what is real and what is illusion.
