Nothing like waking up and discovering that one of those damned viruses has managed to go out under my name -- though to someone I've not emailed in over a year (I suspect it's got some sort of new twist, and is going through other people's mailboxes and changing addresses, as it came to me earlier this morning, under an email address of an acquaintance -- but someone I've not exchanged email with in over two years).
Be that as it may, I am girding up for changes in my office, and wondering about a new strange desire. It's a desire for a very limited action, which, in its ideal manifestation, will affect only two people, and only briefly, but I don't know if it's possible (logistics, obligations, etc.), or even if the people involved are willing or able to do it.
(Yes, I'm being vague: the amount of it that is my story to tell is limited, and it's unlikely. It's just . . . odd, in the way it's been expressed, and the way it would manifest itself, and I wanted to remark upon the oddity of the desire and the situation.)
So, work, spending some of the evening with friends, and thinking about obligations, repercussions, confessions, desires, and communication.
