words matter

A friend, who is a writer, has asked me questions about my relationship with Mark and Paul, ostensibly for an article about how different sorts of marriages exist. However, one of the questions that she just sent me was, "How did Paul insinuate himself so deeply into your partnership and home?"

I suddenly have a bad feeling about this.
