Happy Pride, y'all!
Soren and I stopped by Changes (the local gay bar where I sing karaoke) yesterday, during our shopping wander (this was after I'd gotten drenched while at the University District Farmers Market, pursuing radishes), and hung out for a while, chatting with people, and enjoying the food. Have I mentioned that just about every bar here in Seattle also serves food? And that I think this is a really good thing? Don made a batch of coleslaw that was pretty spectacular, among other things.
Today, I've been pretty subdued, for no particular reason. I didn't make it out to the Pride March; a little of it is because I was unthrilled by the theme of the CSPC's float, and a little was because I got chilled in the rain yesterday. So I stayed home, cooked breakfast for Soren, and ate salad. Local organic radishes, local green garlic, local greens and sprouts, and local goat cheese -- all definitely of the good. And there is more salad for tomorrow (assuming Soren and Jane don't eat it all, though I doubt they will.)
Meanwhile, I read about the history of handwriting in America, and contemplate improving my style(s).
