slightly cranky about help desks
A while ago, I observed that my friends pages were doing odd things, namely the second screen jumping back to 19 February, regardless of the number of entries with the current date. I posted to the help requests -- and have gotten "look at the FAQ about time/date stamping" and "someone on your friends list isn't in the US" responses. Apparently no one is actually reading my help request, just skimming for key words, and responding in boilerplate fashion.
(It's not the browser, as it happens in Mozilla, Netscape, and IE.)
And now it's happening as I look at Reive's friends list. So I'm one step away from a cranky post to the support list. I'd be happier if someone even posted, "It doesn't do that when I look at it; damned if I know."
