Strange things
1) Soren and I popped into the LiveJournal Meet-up last night. I don't think that having it at Remote Lounge really worked that well; it seemed like people were more interested in playing with the cameras than actually talking with other people. I believe the only person I exchanged more than two sentences with was LordRexFear.
So I wonder: was it the venue that made it easy not to interact? Or are LiveJournal folks less interested in the realtime people than they are in the pixellated versions?
1a) (This is oddly contrasted to the fact that Chris, agrumer, redbird, baldanders and I had met earlier in the evening for dinner with Eimear, a young woman from Ireland -- and I only know her slightly through Usenet.)
2) Back to work, and my allergies are acting up again.
3) Duane Reade stores, according to two clerks, are no longer stocking Primatene Mist.
4) This morning, I have been drinking Pepsi Blue. It is, in fact, exceedingly blue.
5) I have a headache, and am not sure whether it's related to the office, or the blue liquid.
6) My office is moving from Corel to Microsoft. This will be ugly.
