I think I've set off some interesting trains of comments in the polyamory group here, one spinning off a particular annoyance of mine, the "go back and reread carefully" comment that's often tossed off at someone who disagrees with the original poster. Apparently I'm not the only one whose nose that gets up.

Meanwhile, I suspect Soren is shaving off his beard, and then we shall go into the Village and see if I can get my second ring; then meet a friend for dinner. These three things are not related in any way, but they're aspects of life around these parts.

Live music last night (The Mendoza Line and Lambchop in Prospect Park), and probably tonight (Rose's Turn, or Arthur's Tavern, or 55 -- we'll see). Good summer weekend.

Update: Beard is still there. Cute beard, too. Wonder how long it'll last this time, though.
