RANGERS Football Club can today announce goalkeeper Liam Kelly has signed a new two-year contract extension with the club.
The 30-year-old, who will represent Scotland at this summer’s FIFA World Cup, has proven a hugely valuable member of the squad since returning to the club in the summer of 2024.
He has featured 16 times in the last two seasons, playing a crucial role in the UEFA Europa League knockout stages in 2025 when he thwarted Athletic Club’s Álex Berenguer from the penalty spot in a goalless first-leg quarter-final draw at Ibrox.
In captaining the side on occasion, Kelly has underlined his leadership and professionalism, and his influence on the team extends beyond the pitch.
Speaking after committing his future to Rangers, the goalkeeper commented: "I'm delighted to extend my stay here at Rangers.
"Coming back to the club has been a special experience and I love being here. We've got a really strong and competitive goalkeeping department, which pushes us all to improve every day, and it's certainly an environment I enjoy being part of.
"It's exciting to commit to what the club is desperate to achieve, and I'm looking forward to continuing to work as hard as I can with my teammates to do our utmost to create special memories for our fans in the years ahead."
