Background<\/h3>\nAdam is a veteran strategic communications leader with experience serving at the nation\u2019s leading environmental and foreign policy organizations, in campaign management, and in the US House and Senate.\n\nAdam came to RMI from the Sierra Club, the largest and oldest environmental organization in the United States, where he served as a senior communications department leader and national press secretary during the Obama, Trump, and Biden administrations. He also led the organization\u2019s work on federal climate policy, legislation, national elections, and crisis communications. He served two terms as chair of the coordinating body for major environmental organizations\u2019 senior communications staff.\n\nAdam has been widely cited in major media outlets such as the Washington Post, Guardian, Bloomberg, The Hill, and the Associated Press, and maintains close working relations with leading climate and environmental reporters.\n

Background<\/h3>\nPrior to joining RMI, Chris was the social media manager for the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA), New York\u2019s primary clean energy agency. Previously, Chris spent several years as the communications manager for the Institute for Market Transformation (IMT), a nonprofit based in Washington DC, which works with city mayors\u2019 offices, real estate companies, and communities to emphasize the widespread benefits of energy efficiency and high-performance buildings. At IMT, Chris designed and led communications campaigns for initiatives funded by the US Department of Energy, such as the Green Lease Leaders Recognition Program and the Small Business Energy Initiative.\n\nChris also provided digital strategy, video, and social media support for several political, environmental, and human rights campaigns for Fenton, a mission-driven communications and PR agency. An NY Capital Region transplant with New Hampshire roots, you can often find him walking with his family and dog, testing the limits of his electric bike, and attempting to photograph the rare Karner Blue butterfly along the trails of the Albany Pine Bush Preserve.\n
