I remember being really nervous about the job duties after my first interview and thinking I probably was not going to take the job. I am so glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone because this is my favorite job I have had by far.
The culture of Rise is different than other companies I have worked for. Because working at Rise means interacting with those we serve as well as the community, each day is different. As the activity coordinator, I get to choose to plan things that everyone enjoys, which creates a more pleasant work environment. No two days are ever the same here so it is hard to get bored.
~ Jamie Farley, Activity Coordinator
What's unique about Rise is the many opportunities to try different things and being able to pull from my strengths and interests.
~ Becky Rother, Director of Quality Assurance
What makes Rise special is that they work from the bottom up. They really put a lot of effort in with their DSPs because they’re really the heart of this company and this field. Their input, wants, and needs are really important to the higher-ups of Rise.
~ Rachel Meyer, Program Manager and former Direct Support Professional
I can't imagine a better career or a finer place to work. Thank you Rise for the opportunity live the mission for the past 20 years.
~ Robert Reedy, Senior Director of Vocational Services
Throughout my roles of Activity Coordinator, Case Manager, Program Supervisor, and now Program Manager, Rise has continued to challenge, support, and believe in me. The trust and autonomy I've been given have allowed me to take on new experiences that have shaped both my career and who I am as a leader.
~ Samantha Trebtoske, Program Manager
Out of all the jobs I've had over the years, Rise has been so flexible, so much aligned with my purpose in life, and I get the support I need as an employee. I enjoy providing service to the community and finding really interesting jobs in the process.
If you're looking for a change in industry or to help people in your community, Rise is a great place to work!
~ Vanessa Barron, Employment Consultant
