So, I am still alive after the backstage tour, even though I started getting nervous like, 2 hours before I even got to Tokyo Dome.

How did this happen, you ask?

I don't have any other explanation except for luck. Lucky that I have friends (ina ♥) who gave me their Birth CD codes, lucky enough that I had my work phone with me when I realized I was running out of time to submit the application and you could only access the site with a normal phone, not a smartphone, lucky enough that I was actually selected to meet KAT-TUN backstage.

And also so terribly lucky that I have friends who got me tickets to meet Jin and talk to him a month before, so now I have met all 6 KAT-TUN and ex-KAT-TUN members. This post will have lots of flail, lots of incoherency, but at the end of the day, it's the account a fangirl who got to do what she could only imagine or dream of - meet her idols in person.

I got to the meeting place, the staff entrance at level 1 of Tokyo Dome, at 1.55pm, and the registration started at 2pm. Everyone was really normal looking, so I feel like I stood out a lot with my pink hair extensions :| They were extremely strict with the ID check - you have to use the code on your phone to register, and then show them the confirmation email with your name on it, along with a photo ID, just so they can check that you're the person who registered and got chosen.

We were then ushered into Tokyo Dome in groups of 10 or so, and made to stand in rows of 6. When all 200 girls have come in, the staff in suit (he spoke in Kansai-ben, wore glasses and was pretty cute!) gave us a very interesting and entertaining briefing about how we're all lucky people, and we should look forward to the time we are going to spend meeting the boys and talk to them. We were also told that each of our tags are unique and there's only one in the world (it has the venue, date, and our registration number on it). The staff all told us to have fun, not be nervous (yeah right, like that's possible dkhfjdsh). And then we were led into the venue proper.

Coming out of the first floor entrance below gate 22, we got a full frontal view of the stage, and then off we go onto the stage. We spent a lot of time walking around the hanamichi (walkway connecting the three stages), the centre stage, hanamichi, and finally on to the moving stage. From the stage and the hanamichi, you could actually see how close the audience was, and if you walk around the arena like the boys do, there is basically no seat that you cant see clearly. I can imagine people sitting in them, and with lights on, they'll be really visible. That's how clear the boys can see the fans in the arena when they're on stage.

Walking along the sides, you could actually see maybe the first 20 rows of the stands? And being uplifted on the crane things would actually give them a good view of everything.

We went on the main stageand stood in two rows. I was right in the middle, in the back row. They told us about the moving stage, how it's the biggest they've had for Johnny's, and that it's the size of a regular primary school pool (which Koki also said during the con on 22 Apr).They then showed us the lights in different mode, and how if the lights shine on a certain part of the audience, the boys will be able to see very well.

We were then made to swap positions with the people in front, so I was right in the middle, right in front of everything. They told us they want us to experience the blaze erupting from the stage, Rescue style, and that we needed to dance because they were gonna film us! I was in front, right in the middle, and was really embarrassed. The blaze, though, was amazing. Not as hot as I expected, but REALLY scary. I also spoke to a woman in her forties beside me, who didn't raise her hand when the staff asked who was going for the concert that evening, and found out that she had come in place of her daughter. The daughter was using a smartphone and couldn't register, and so asked her mom to do it, but her mom accidentally registered her own name T__T Poor Kamenashi-fan daughter T___T

Next, we were ushered down through the tunnels which connect the three stages, walked through where their "changing area" is (not a room, just a small area under the stage), then out to the back of the arena area. Then the staff talked a bit more, then interviewed row by row, asking each fan to say something to the boys (who might or might not hear *shrugs*). There were a lot of "Daisuki" and "Hyphen de shiawase". I said, "Singapore kara kitandesu. KAT-TUN fan de shiawase nanode, KAT-TUN mo shiawase de ite kudasai" (I am from Singapore. I am very happy I'm that a fan of KAT-TUN's, and so I want KAT-TUN to always be happy as well). The mention of Singapore got a pretty loud gasp from the staff and the other fans XD

Then ushered out to the area between the gates and the concert hall, and there was a partition separating the boys from us. Could hear Taguchi’s voice the most lol. Before I continue, let me remind you that I do stupid things when I panic, and I also realized I have a predisposition to distribute food to my idols (I gave a Tokyo Banana to Jin. Subconsciously, I may be thinking they all need to eat more, or that they need me to mother them...).

So, in the order I met them:

Junno - I pushed the rusk into his hands, and he grabbed both my hands and went “Tokyo Rusk da! Arigatou!”. REALLY BIG WARM HANDS, WARM SMILE.

Ueda - No memory of shaking his hand. He was wearing a mask. Told him his hair is cool and he looks otokomae. He said arigatou. I left the rusk on the table.

Maru - Pushed rusk on the table, shook his hand, told him "I have a Malaysian friend (*coughs*alienashi*coughs*) who likes you a lot, and uhm, she calls you OPPAI". YES. FREUDIAN SLIP, OR WHATEVER. I WANTED TO SAY OPPA GDI. I realized too late what I had just said, covered my mouth in horror. I could hear Koki snickering beside him, then Maru stared and then pointed at me and said, "Ima sore, kanzenni shimoneta talk jyan!" (Wasn't that totally dirty talk just now?!") T___T Koki laughed somemore. I think I died, and just said sorry and that I meant OPPA while stumbling all over my Japanese T___T

Koki - So so smiley (probably because he was laughing at me? T___T), I stared at him for a while (while being pushed from behind) and asked "Hon mono desuka??" (Are you real??) and he was like, "Hon mono desu yo" (Yes I am). I think I may have touched his hand but I was too dazed to remember. Then I said "Koki-kun no rap daisuki desu" (I really like your rap) and he said arigatou and smiled somemore. (He was the most natural of the lot T__T ♥)

Kame - Ohgod Kamenashi. I was still talking to Koki when I got pushed to stand in front of him. And it dawned on me that I was standing in front of Kamenashi Kazuya the second before I turned and looked at his face. And he just stared at me. Not blankly, no. He stared with the intention to intimidate, omg. Like, deliberately. I wavered for a while, and only managed to get "YOU HAVE A LOT OF FANS OVERSEAS" out. He stared like he wanted you to drown in his eyes. And I gave him the rusk, touched his palm only with my fingertips (lifelong regret T___T), then waved goodbye desperately as I was pushed out. AND HE SMIRKED. ONE SIDED SMIRK. T___T JUST RECOUNTING THIS IS KILLING ME T___T

Kame also had NO makeup on. VERY WHITE SKIN. No acne, but can see his pores and moles ldsjfljdsfl

We were then showed the way out. While being in a daze. We all went in not knowing each other, 200 strangers. But came out making a lot of new friends. It was the most AMAZING thing ever. EVER. EVER.

Today was date #2 with the guy from last week, and at one point, our conversation went to pretty boys, and I said that I actually prefer pretty boys as opposed to (in his words) "lumber jacks".

And the conversation went something like this:

Him: I remember that one group... KASSUN? KAT-TUS?

Me: You mean, KAT-TUN?

Him: Yes, that's the one.

Me: Erm, yea, I listen to them.

Him: Wasn't one of them in Hana Yori Dango?

Me: ... That's Matsumoto Jun. He's from Arashi :| :| :|

Well, at least he knows about KAT-TUN XD

The 7th heaven mix is my favourite ♥

This week has been pretty good, with the single release and the Ustream thing, fandom-wise (he answered my question on his favourite hangout in Japan :DDD), and work has been okay-ish. This upbeat mood is also probably due to the fact that I took a short trip to Hong Kong last weekend and I'm still feeling relaxed and happy from the time off from work :)

Today I also went out with someone I met 2 weeks ago, on Halloween weekend, and the date went better than I expected :) It was initially just supposed to be coffee, and we went to this hole-in-the-wall coffee shop in Shinjuku which serves pretty good coffee. But after that, we walked around a bit and he brought me to a chocolate bar for more good stuff (yay hot chocolate!), then off to Shin Okubo for Korean dinner and then to another place for drinks. It was fun, lots of laughter and general getting to know each other :) Even if nothing comes out of this, I'm glad I made a new friend who I can talk and laugh and poke fun at (yay language nerds lol). ~~not to mention the fact that he's hot lol.~~

Tomorrow, my ex-boss from Singapore is coming, and we're going shopping yay! And then there's Music Lovers Live in Budokan. Can't wait to see Flumpool! :D

Sorry for disappearing for so long! The past month has been hectic - don't even get me started.

But that's not the point of this post! The point is - here, have a translation!

I am not sure whether I should say whether I like it, but I myself have a habit of biting things. Like biting on paper cups and flattening them out. I wonder what this means, from a psychological point of view. Also, biting on the end of pencils when I’m in junior high, the “Shh, shh” sounds that the wood makes… I wonder if there is a meaning to that. And touching my teeth with my finger… I wonder if it means I was a child who cannot keep calm?

I guess, rather than asking whether is this type of girl to my liking, this is something that I do myself, so I can’t say that it’s not to my liking. I think it’s a habit that one has to kick when one grows up, but when I have the time I still end up biting paper cups.

Rimi-chan from Saitama-ken: During Physical Education class in school, we played basketball, I hurt my hand while reaching out for the ball. Because it hurt so much, I went to the hospital, and was told that recovery will take 3 weeks.

Right now, I am attending a school which specializes in music. One of the things we learn in school is the flute, and to not be able to play the flute for three weeks is something that I am unable to accept. Kame-chan, what should I do to be able to accept this fact?

Kame: Well, when you’re injured, you should not force yourself, and more than that, if it aggravates the injury it doesn’t help, either. You may have to accept the current situation and understand it yourself. Perhaps you can’t use your fingers much right now, but maybe you can work on your lung capacity, things like that. There is definitely something else that you can do, so please look out for that.

Misaki-chan from Yamagata-ken: I have something that I want to ask for advice on from Kame-chan. I am in 1st year in junior high, and a member of the Kendo club. When training ends, and I remove my mask and gloves, there is a very peculiar smell – to put it simply, it stinks. I cannot help but be bothered by it.

Right now there is someone that I like. There are times when we hang out after club activities end, no matter how much I wash my body and my hands, the smell doesn’t go away. My friends tell me, “It’s alright!”, but what would the boys think? Kame-chan, please let me know what you think.

Kame: I was also part of the Judo club when I was 1st year of junior high. There wasn’t a baseball club at school, so I ended up joining the normal baseball team, because there was always baseball matches on Sundays, I couldn’t really take part in club activities. Because I couldn’t participate in competitions and stuff.

So I talked to the school about it, and my brother, who was in the Judo club, suggested that I join the Kendo club in name, so I did in my first year in junior high. Everyone in the club would only bring their Judo gear back home once a week. But I couldn’t stand it, really, the peculiar smell. So that’s why, I ended up bringing mine home every day, to be washed.

But this is in junior high. When you have grown up, you understand the circumstances, so it doesn’t really matter much, and the me right now, I think it really didn’t matter much. But in first year of junior high, it makes sense to be bothered by this kinda things, be it for a guy or a girl.

If that’s the case… Right now, there are those things that you can spray (he uses the onomatopoeia "Shu~ Shu~" XD) on your clothes to get rid of the smell, aren’t there? When I was in junior high, those things weren’t so popular yet. It would’ve been good if I was able to use those things and close the gap. Like, when you practice Kendo, you get all sweaty and stuff, but once you change back into your normal clothes, you get back your clean feeling.

Work hard, get rid of that smell! I hope you can do it.

Kana-chan from Kanagawa-ken: There is someone I like right now, but I am being used by that person to do various things. I do it for him because I like him, but in actual fact, I don’t like being used like that. What do you thing I should do?

Kame: What is the meaning of this? Someone at 16 years old being made to do things for something else. High schooler? What, like, "Kana, go and buy me some juice." "Ok~?" This is like the domineering husband *laughs*

I think it is very likely that, this guy knows that Kana-chan likes him, doesn’t he? Because of that, he might be thinking, "You’ll do it anyway, because you like me, right?" It’s better if you tell him directly that you don’t like it. Un.

If he says "What, why, do it", you should tell him, "No way, do it yourself. Why do I have to do it for you?", and from there, maybe something else might come out of it…

All that I have done, they are all for a clean mind.

This may sound like I'm just whitewashing, but... to me, it is no good if the mind is not clear. The thing I dislike the most is the feeling of uneasiness. Perhaps it is because my own feelings are easily reflected in my facial expressions and my behaviour? That is why I do a lot of things so that I feel clean. Of course I do not do things that others feel are disgusting, but also when it comes to the maintenance of my skin. When I take a bath, I would use a steamer for my skin, and when I'm watching TV, I would massage my face - by doing that, I am able to sort out my feelings for the day. Things like hanging out on my balcony, that is also a time for me to relax and clear my thoughts.

It's also the same when it comes to cleaning up my room - while I am not the type must make sure everything is clean, or that I'm diligent in that way, but when you feel all, "Ah~ I can relax now" and your room is not clean, it makes you feel depressed instead. When I go over to my friend's place and it's dirty, I usually end up cleaning up for them instead. If I don't do that, it's like, I can't feel calm and relaxed, or rather, it feels better that way. That's right - when you feel good, it allows your heart to be clean.

I am naggy when it comes to girls' cleanliness!

The standard of cleanliness when it comes to girls is different for different people... I think perhaps I like people with a nice* nose. A nose like Nakamaru's does not work for me... Ma, that was a joke *laughs*

Well, generally, there are many aspects that are more important than just looking good on the outside. When I see someone who pays attention to tiny details about themselves, I would think that this person looks good. It's not that I dislike people who, even though they are wearing a nice outfit, it has fuzz all over, or is covered with lint... it's more like I feel disappointed when I see that.

When I see girls who have their nails done, but the nail polish is peeling all over, I can't help but think, "Please do it properly, since you're a girl," or "If it comes to that, just remove the nail polish!". Also, when the make-up is perfect, but the ear is dirty...? Maybe there are no girls who are like that...

But, I always wonder, what is it with making sure you look good on the outside, but the inside is not clean? Maybe it's because, for myself, I would definitely shower before work, and every time I go to work, I want to wear a fresh set of underwear. If I become someone's boyfriend, I think I will be quite naggy... That's why, I'm not popular with girls.

Then again, regardless of whether you're male or female, when you're in love and start seeing someone new, you will definitely put in effort to look good, won't you? To keep up that effort is not something easy, but I think it is very important to do so. That's why, I don't need the person that I like to put on make-up, on the contrary, it is okay to go without, as long as they put in effort to look nice and clean.

Japanese Summer Festival, Singapore, 21 August 2010

♪ I was at the summer festival again this year! I had decided I was not gonna go (had to sit for placement test for the JLPT prep course), but then my friend and I finished it in 30 minutes and decided, OK WE WILL GO! 8D

So we spent almost an hour battling our yukata and hair and got her parents to send us there :Db Didn't dance this year cos there were a lot of people and it was kinda muddy, so we stood at the side and watched and talked. It was fun!

And then we took the train back in our yukata :P

- Taguchi is hyper from start till finish.
- Ueda was in a good mood. His solo is entirely in English and he proclaimed to want to wear a dress and be sadistic to everyone. We laughed our asses off (only those who knew English were insane over it XD).
- Koki got a blowjob on stage by a WOMAN ~~(LOL JIN)~~. Then he changed over and it was Junno on the couch, sleeping.
- More on Koki - Make U Wet Pt2 is amazing in a dirty way (totally not for kids lol). He teased the audience by unzipping his pants and lsajfdldjflsf I went nuts (along with half the audience) *___*
- During the MC, Kame kept saying "Are, Taguchi itanda!" (Taguchi, you were here!), at least twice, and Taguchi was like, "I'M HERE ^##$*&^#" (not as vulgar, but you get what I mean).
- Koki said that when Taguchi talks, someone will be having an entirely different conversation behind him (ie. ignoring him). So adorable XD
- Kame sang Sweet, and two lines later he got chased by vampire!Kis-My-Ft2, got bitten and turned into one very sexy vampire himself. And started singing Lose My Way :D Then it was a mash of Sweet and LMW.
- Maru and Kame dentist skit - Kame said he wanted to wear his fangs for Sunako, for the YamaNade people. And then he started doing the Sunako hand action plus the "Mabushi~~" thing, except he looked at Maru and said "Mabushikunai ne" *dies*
- Maru is awkward in the most adorable way~ He had a pair of dorky glasses on (think Jin's huge glasses), from the middle of the con till the end and was singing DUES with it (and other songs as well). Then at the end, after FARAWAY (?) he uttered a long string of thank you's and how he didn't get to talk to the audience much and that he really appreciated everyone (think politician speech XD), and Koki had to drag him backstage ♥
- We got two encores! First encore they came out in HORSES. And sang N.M.P. It was awesome.

Jin: Konnichiwa. Welcome to You & Jin. *appears bashful* It's Valentine's day today. Do you have anyone you want to give chocolates to?
Audience: Jin~~!!
Jin: It's not that. Someone like... a boyfriend? Or husband? I sometimes see guys who are brought along by their wives (to You & Jin). This year, I received 4 chocolates!
Audience: Oooh~~ *catcalling and some hand clapping from the audience*
Jin: But unfortunately they're all chocolates given out of obligation. Out of the 4, 2 were from a girl who is like a sister to me. That girl is here today. Yesterday, she called me and said, "I'm making (the chocolates) with a friend", but today when we met, the other girl (the sister-like friend's friend, probably) forgot to bring the chocolates. "Kora!" I said to her.

Jin: The title "You & Jin" seems to have the meaning of "Yuujin" (meaning "friends" in Japanese). It does have that kind of meaning. Thus, among the people here some of them are my friends.

One of the dancers, Joey Tee, is from LA, and he's really good at dancing, no.1 in the whole of America. He's the guy who was doing this just now *does the choreography performed by Joey earlier and was well received by the audience* The guy who did this. This right here, yeah? Thi~~~s right here *did it a few more times cos it was so well received by the audience* (The girl who posted called him "The panda guy who did the dance a few times because it was so well received" because of his hoodie XD)

Jin: In addition to that, there are also songs that I wrote in collaboration with my friends. One of them is Nishikido Ryo *repeats perhaps due to the lack of response* Ni-shi-ki-do Ryo-u. You guys know him, right? Yeah, you guys know him. We wrote "Hey Girl" together.

Ah, but if you have, you won't be answering your phone!" he said something like that to me. Meaning that I haven't actually been arrested. There were cases like that, too.

I decided that self-love is more important than any other love. And to start off the new year with this theme in mind, I went for a pedicure ♥

How's everyone doing??? I hope everyone's had a good year so far~

For me, 2009 was a year full of memories, and lots of learning experiences. I have lost friends, had my heart broken ~~out of my own stupidity, so to speak~~, found a job that I like and excel in, and keep my love for my favourite boys alive ♥ It's not such a bad year, if you think about it.

In 2010, apart from self-love, I will strive to be a better person, and to enjoy myself more :D Today, while at a second hand Japanese book store with mienai2401, I got myself an Omikuji, and my fortune this year is 大吉 (Greatest blessing). It says that a person I have been waiting for, and whom I will only meet once in a thousand years, will appear before me this year. I wonder who it is, lol!

Also, Japan in less than two weeks! :D :D

冬じゃないんだけど。。

鍋食べたいっ！ｗｗ　藤井リナのこのブログを見たらずっとそう思ったんだ。

昨日超長い時間会社にいて、家に帰ったらもう10時半ごろだった。早く寝ようとしたら、12時ごろもう寝ちゃったけど、1時過ぎたら携帯が急に鳴った。誰かというと、あの男だった。でも、超疲れて、まだ寝てるから外側のボタン押して、出ずに寝続けました～☆

そんな友達なんか要らないもん。ちっとも私の事考えてくれないくせに、私に手伝ってほしいときだけ連絡する。アホカ！

はい、話が変わります～～

最近仕事で敬語しか使わないせいか、なんか日常の日本語が下手になる気がする。友達にはそうは思わないと言ってくれたんだけど、やっぱ、言語って、使わないと駄目になっちゃうからね。職場でも普通な日本語を使って私と話す人は一人しかいない。それは、彼女は大学の知り合いだった。でも友達とはいえ、職場で話しすぎず、気をつけないとね。

てか、今週末、三日間も休みます！♪今日はのんびりするつもりだけど、明日どっか行きたいなぁ。マレーシア行こうかな？

How's everyone doing?~ It's the long weekend, and I wanna go shopping! UGH. And party. Since the aunt and uncle are out of town AGAIN. It's not everyday that you get the whole house to yourself, AND have your pay just debited into your account 8D

I think I might go shopping in Malaysia tomorrow ♥

Darn, Youtube doesn't allow embedding of Southern All Stars' 真夏の果実 DDD: I started hearing this song a lot lately and it's been stuck in my head. Some of you might find that this song sounds similar to Jacky Cheung's 每天爱你多一些. That's cos Jacky's is a cover of the Southern All Stars original :)

In other news, I got pissed drunk on Friday night, spent almost the whole of Saturday nursing a hang over, and now my weekend's almost gone T___T But Natalie's birthday dinner tonight! We're going for hotpot at The Mushroom Pot. YUM ♥ I wonder if I can still fake that I'm a student and get the student discount >_>
