Acamea Deadwiler<\/h2>\n

Acamea Deadwiler is a memoirist and essayist who received critical acclaim from Publishers Weekly for her book, Single That. She has been featured by the New York Post, Cosmopolitan, Bustle<\/em>, and the FOX television network, among other media outlets. Acamea is also a TEDx speaker. Currently residing in Nevada, she holds a master\u2019s degree from Valparaiso University and is a fellow in the MFA program at Randolph College.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rob Cohen<\/h2>\n

Rob Cohen (1954-2016) was a teacher and writer from Ringwood, New Jersey. He grew up in Brooklyn, New York and joined his family\u2019s candy and toy business, which he later owned and operated. Later in life he began a second career as a teacher in the New Jersey school system, where he worked until\u00a0 his diagnosis of lung cancer in 2015. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Reilly, and his daughter, Emily.<\/p>\n

Steve Trebing<\/h2>\n

Steve Trebing is a serial entrepreneur, triathlete, and writer. He and his family have been featured on The View<\/em> with Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg, and on 20\/20<\/em> with Elizabeth Vargas. Steve, along with his wife Stacy, have been a guest lecturer on a Newsday podcast discussing savior siblings, and they continue to help advocate for, and raise awareness of, various medical diseases by sponsoring 5k run\/walks and fundraising campaigns. Steve lives in Nesconset, New York, with his wife and their three children.<\/p>\n

Tony Gervasi<\/h2>\n

Tony Gervasi grew up in the Philadelphia area and was a teen during the MOVE bombing of 1985. He worked as a newspaper reporter prior to moving to the Caribbean in the 1990s. Upon his return to the northeast, he settled in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He splits his time between there and the Florida Keys with his wife and their three dogs. Osage Avenue is his first book.<\/p>\n

Carrie Cariello<\/h2>\n

Carrie Cariello lives in Southern New Hampshire with her husband, Joe, and their five children. And no, their daughter is not the fifth child. She is the fourth. They thought she was to be their last, but sometimes urologists cancel important appointments, so there you have it. Her second son, Jack, has autism. A lot of times he makes her laugh, sometimes he makes her cry, but mostly he just makes her watch and wonder. Right now she stays home with her children. Once again there\u2019s lots of laughter and some crying, but mostly it\u2019s great fun. She is the author of What Color is Monday? How Autism Changed One Family for the Better <\/em><\/a>and Someone I\u2019m With has Autism<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

Mike Freeman<\/h2>\n

Mike Freeman is a freelance writer and father of two daughters. He and his wife Karen are raising the girls in Jamestown, Rhode Island, on Conanicut Island west of Newport. Along with over fifty essays, articles, and reviews, Mike has published one book, Drifting<\/em>: Two Weeks on the Hudson<\/em>, and has twice been selected as Honorable Mention in Best American Essays. Mike grew up in southwest Connecticut and lived out West for thirteen years, mostly in Alaska, before returning to marry in 2008. “Before moving back,” he writes, “I\u2019d never realized how much I missed New England.<\/p>\n

Michael Charney<\/h2>\n

Michael Charney is the founder and editor of Riddle Brook Publishing, and the author of two books on politics,\u00a0Chasing Glenn Beck<\/em>, and\u00a0Tea with the Mad Hatter.<\/em>\u00a0 He founded Riddle Brook as a way to encourage and publish new writers. He lives in New Hampshire with his wife and dog.<\/p>\n
