MANDATE OF HAPPINESS: ENACTING THE JOY PROTOCOL
Effective immediately, all citizens are hereby required to participate in the JOY PROTOCOL—a rhythmic, soul-affirming initiative designed to elevate moods, strengthen community bonds, and disrupt negativity with groove-based healing. Under this mandate, spontaneous dancing is not only encouraged, it is federally protected. Side effects may include contagious laughter, increased eye contact, and unsolicited acts of kindness. Joy is no longer optional—it’s protocol. All public spaces shall henceforth be considered safe zones for soulful expression, meaningful connection, and music-fueled liberation.
Failure to comply may result in an ensemble of highly trained musicians showing up unannounced with horns, drums, and basslines powerful enough to melt away despair. You will be surrounded by love. You will be reminded of your light. Resistance is futile—and frankly, a little offbeat. So report to your nearest moment of joy, grab a neighbor’s hand (with consent, of course), and proceed to elevate. This is not a drill. This is the Joy Protocol.
