this site is a personal space, a digital scrapbook, and an ever-evolving labyrinth.

it was created in late september 2022, and has been slowly built up with handwritten HTML. it will never feature third-party ads, affiliate links, or art/text/code made with generative AI. light and dark mode are available for most pages through your browser or OS settings (though you should know that i'm biased towards light mode). most images here are dithered. for more information on how this site was made, visit the colophon linked below.

ribose is a sugar molecule, most famous for its role in the backbone of RNA.

the domain name ribo.zone is a reference to the ribosome, a complex of RNA and protein that translates the codons of mRNA transcripts into amino acids, assembling new proteins.
