This manual is a supplement to the Wii U Operations Manual included with ypur system and provides additional information about your Wii U™ system and features.
Also, before using this software, please read the content of the Health and Safety Information application on the Wii U Menu. It contains important information that will help you enjoy this software.
The Mii Maker™ application lets you create Mii™ characters for yourself, family members, and friends using the wealth of features available!
• Mii characters created in this application can appear and be used as players in supported games and software titles. However, they cannot appear and be used in Wii™ games. If you need Mii characters to use in Wii games, please create them using the Mii Channel, which is accessible from (the Wii Menu).
This software is controlled by tapping and sliding on the Wii U™ GamePad controller screen.
◆ You will not be able to switch the television screen with the Wii U GamePad screen while using Mii Maker.
◆ To use a Wii Remote, you will need to pair a Wii Remote with the Wii U console. For more information, please see the Wii U Operations Manual.
Pairing Controllers
From the HOME Menu, select Controller Settings to display the screen shown to the right. Select Pair, and then follow the on-screen instructions to pair the controller.
