Our experts developed communication solutions for automation, process, manufacturing and drive technology. Our in-depth knowledge of industrial communication is the basis for our success and plays a crucial role in the continuous development of Revolution Pi.
2016 - Revolution Pi Launch
Breaking New Ground
Revolution Pi celebrated its world premiere in November 2016: the RevPi Core was launched on the market, equipped with the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 1 and flanked by the first expansion modules.
At that time, there was hardly any talk of open source in the industrial sector. In an environment characterized by proprietary systems, our product was considered revolutionary in 2016. Bingo, there it was, our brand name Revolution Pi.
Our motivation: to take the basic idea of Raspberry Pi to the next level and develop a cost-effective, scalable and industrial-grade soft PLC. Since then, the product portfolio has evolved. Our customers also use Revolution Pi as an industrial PC, industrial IoT gateway, edge device and HMI.
2024 - Focus on Revolution Pi
Innovation and Growth
With the rapid growth of Revolution Pi, our strategic focus is clearly on the further development of the product family. With the market launch of the RevPi Connect 5 at the same time as the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 in November 2024, we have once again set standards for industrial Raspberry Pi systems.
