A Week of Check-ins on the Path to One Billion

To mark the fact of reaching the impressive milestone of one billion check-ins, the location-based social network Foursquare put together a visualization showing a week of check-ins. The visualization consists of a animated time-lapse video that shows locations around the world light up on a map as people there check-in at different times of the day.
