Our mission is to reduce the complexity and cost of software by rethinking how databases are built and consumed.

That rethinking starts with OpenData: a collection of object store native databases built on a shared foundation. Object storage enables meaningfully simpler database architectures and a shared foundation makes operations substantially similar across databases. The OpenData stack is simple, efficient, and flexible to operate.

OpenData is an MIT licensed open source project which will be donated to a foundation. We've only just begun appreciating the potential of object storage, and we're excited to explore its possibilities alongside the open source developer community!
