We want to do what is right
CapMan strives to maintain a transparent business climate and high business ethics and comply with all applicable legislations. An opportunity to make a report on wrongdoings is one way to contribute to our operations. Through a Whistleblowing Channel CapMan can get significant information about grievances, internal or outside threats and an opportunity to react to them quickly. A report sent early through a Whistleblowing Channel may also help the company prepare for any publicity arising out of illegal or unethical actions.
When can I use the Whistleblowing Channel?
The Whistleblowing Channel can be used to alert CapMan about illegal actions or unlawful misconducts affecting individuals, our company/organisation, the society or the environment, such as money laundering, market abuse, violations of data privacy, corruption, violations of CapMan’s Code of Conduct or internal rules of process. You do not need proof of your suspicions, but all messages must be made in good faith.
We encourage you to primarily report the suspected misconduct directly to the CapMan function in charge or your CapMan contact person. If this isn’t possible, or if you want to make an anonymous report, you can use the confidential Whistleblowing Channel to submit a report.
Your message will be securely handled
The Whistleblowing Channel is provided by an external partner WhistleB, Whistleblowing Centre, to ensure anonymity and confidentiality. The communication channel is encrypted and password-protected.
The whistleblower process is based on the legal requirements of Whistleblower Directive and Whistleblower Protection Act. All reports are taken seriously and treated confidentially. The notifier does not suffer any sanctions or disadvantages from the notification.
The identity of the reporter is handled confidentially, respecting the level of anonymity chosen by the person.
The recipients of the whistleblowing reports are CapMan Head of HR, Compliance Officer and Head of Operations. Chair of the Audit Committee have the right to process and monitor all reports. All reports are stored and retained only in the highly secured WhistleB Whistleblowing Centre and deleted when there is no longer grounds for retaining the information. Personal data is retained only as long as it is needed for handling the case and/or CapMan has a legal obligation to retain the personal data.
How to submit an anonymous report
Submitting a report is done easily and securely by following the instructions on the form.
Note! When you submit your report, an ID and password will be displayed on the screen. Save them in a secure place. You will remain anonymous throughout the dialogue, unless you want to give us your personal information.
Within 7 days of receiving your report, we will send you information on the progress of the process as well as possible follow-up questions. Be sure to occasionally check the channel to see if we’ve responded to your report.
Thank you for helping us to promote responsible business.
