Description:
The Data Lab at Coface is a team that combines expertise in Data Science and Software Engineering to create operational solutions that enhance risk management, business processes, products, and services.
The team consists of around 30 members located mainly in Paris, Toronto, and Casablanca.
They work on various Data Science use cases, utilizing Machine Learning and AI technologies, such as scoring business failure risks, extracting information from images and documents, identifying companies with a custom search engine, building knowledge graphs, and conducting financial modeling and simulations.
The technology stack primarily uses Python, along with ReactJS and Java, and involves data extraction from databases and managing CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications and APIs on Docker/Kubernetes infrastructures, Apache Airflow, and in the Cloud.
The team delivers multiple projects with short development cycles, including APIs for major international accounts, web scraping, data processing pipelines for Machine Learning models, and user interfaces for AI-powered solutions.
The role involves working in pairs or small teams on innovative projects, participating in code reviews, proposing technical solutions, and engaging in technology watch.
Requirements:
Candidates must have an engineering degree in Software Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Software Engineer is required.
Proficiency in Python application development with a focus on high-quality standards and best practices in code reviews and continuous integration is essential.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Docker/Kubernetes deployments is necessary.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Neo4j, ElasticSearch, and Redis, is required.
Candidates should have experience in implementing monitoring dashboards using tools like Kibana and Grafana.
Autonomy, curiosity, teamwork, and knowledge sharing are important traits for this position.
Proficiency in both English and French is mandatory due to interactions with global teams.
