  • As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of software delivery pipelines to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • You will drive continuous improvement initiatives across the software development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • The role involves analyzing, deploying, and maintaining mission-critical systems, working closely with the Head of Technology, IT, and Development teams.
  • You will have the autonomy to implement advanced tools and technologies and lead large-scale automation initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or in a similar role is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) products, services, and methodologies is essential.
  • A high level of Linux knowledge and experience, along with configuration management using Ansible, is necessary.
  • You must be able to devise and implement CI/CD pipelines and practices, including GitHub.
  • Strong knowledge of Nginx, PHP, and MySQL is required.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL solutions, RabbitMQ, SOLR, and Couchbase is important.
  • Transformational experience in migrating from monolithic architecture to services is a must, along with a commercial mindset.
  • A cost-savings mindset to strive for efficient operations is essential.
  • You should have architectural design support experience and an understanding of networking concepts and solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • A solid understanding of networking concepts, technologies, and protocols (TCP/IP, IPSec, HTTPS, DNS) is needed.
  • Experience with information security risk assessment and analysis of Google Cloud native services is required.
  • You should be able to analyze potential attack vectors and understand the impact of security threats on the system.
  • Experience with New Relic, including log investigation and diagnosing root-cause issues, is necessary.
  • Awareness of relevant industry regulations, such as GDPR, is important.
