Responsibilities include developing and enhancing functionalities within the Cyrex Protoceptor tool, focusing on intercepting and analyzing gaming protocol traffic.
The role involves implementing (de)serialization, sequence number tracking, and packet injection mechanisms for custom gaming network protocols.
The candidate will provide technical support for penetration testing teams using the Protoceptor tool and maintain and document the tool.

Requirements:

A technical or university level qualification, preferably in Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in English.
A minimum of 3 years of experience writing products in Python 3.
Understanding of endianness, hashing, checksums, encoding, encryption, signing, and bitmasks.
Knowledge of TCP/UDP mechanics, including packet fragmentation, sequence management, and multiplexing.
Familiarity with serialization techniques, including binary formats and variable-length encoding.
Ability to read and understand large C++ codebases.
