Remote Junior DevOps Engineer Role

Description:

• We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer who is eager to grow hands-on experience in automation, CI/CD, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure.

• Responsibilities include assisting in building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, supporting automation of deployment, monitoring, and remediation processes, documenting CI/CD pipelines and operational procedures, participating in implementing DevSecOps best practices, collaborating with infrastructure, security, and application teams, monitoring pipelines and systems, troubleshooting issues, and continuously learning DevOps tools and cloud technologies.

Requirements:

• Basic hands-on experience or strong academic foundation in CI/CD tools, with a preference for GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with Linux systems, scripting (Bash or similar), and version control (Git) is required.
• Exposure to SAP environments, VMware, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) is a plus.
• An understanding of DevOps concepts such as automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure basics is necessary.
• A willingness to learn Infrastructure-as-Code tools, such as Terraform and Ansible, is expected.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.
• A strong motivation to grow into a more senior DevOps role over time is required.
