The Data Analyst Internship is a cross-disciplinary role that involves both instructional and technical tasks.
Interns will work with educators to validate and iterate models that drive analytics.
The role requires developing an understanding of algorithms, technologies, and proprietary educational content.
Interns will synthesize knowledge into actionable tests to build modules that identify individual student academic needs.
The position involves engaging with innovative team members to improve education through data infrastructure and analytics.

Requirements:

Candidates should enjoy creative problem solving and working with messy, real-world data.
Strong math and quantitative skills, along with excellent attention to detail, are required.
A curiosity about how data can enhance learning and student outcomes is essential.
Candidates should be studying or have studied Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Some coding experience and a strong interest in technology and AI are necessary.
Experience with SQL, Python data tools (such as Pandas or NumPy), or building data pipelines in Python is required.
Proficiency in Excel is necessary, including advanced formulas, tables, conditional formatting, advanced charting, pivot tables, and productive analysis.
Candidates should be willing to support AI tools and workflows for data-driven decision-making, perform data mining and cleaning, and analyze website analytics.
Prior internship or project experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or marketing analytics is a plus.
Familiarity with web analytics and marketing tools, experience visualizing data, and collaboration in remote teams are also beneficial.
