Senior Frontend Engineer

• Establishing a design-oriented workflow through the construction and maintenance of a design system using Figma, developed using TypeScript, SASS, Lit, and Storybook, ensuring consistency between design specifications and application implementation. • Reducing client-side error response time by implementing observability practices using the Swetrix platform to monitor application traffic, identify usage patterns, barriers, and error detection. • Building a high-performance and scalable frontend using TypeScript, Lit, SASS, and Vite, ensuring responsiveness, compatibility across different browsers, high performance, and reliability through unit testing with Vitest. • Integrating with multiple APIs and external services, collaborating with backend teams in defining and evolving API contracts, and ensuring fault-tolerant communication so that a request failure does not affect the application. • Working on application support, code reviews, providing technical guidance to the team, and removing technical impediments. Active participation in backlog management, prioritization of tasks, and execution of tasks according to agile practices.

• Development and evolution of high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, focusing on usability and user experience, through the use of best practices in complex state management, rendering patterns, and component architecture. • Development of applications oriented to the design system using Figma, Storybook, SASS, and CSS Modules to ensure visual consistency across all company products, as well as a pleasant, fluid, and optimized user experience. • Optimization of application performance through the implementation of problem-solving patterns, such as debouncing, virtual lists, infinite scrolling, and component composition, and the use of CDNs for image optimization in the application. • Direct collaboration with different teams (Design, DevOps, Back-end, and Front-end) to ensure a continuous workflow and consistent deliveries. • Improving product reliability by delivering clean, testable, maintainable code and applying test techniques (E2E, Unit, Integration) using Jest and Playwright.

• Designed and implemented an application used by the pharmaceutical telesales team to receive orders from customers and send them directly to ERP Protheus. At that time, more than 2 million reais had already been sold through the application. It was developed using NextJS on the frontend and Django on the backend. • Automated the calculation of bonuses for all the company’s departments, drastically reducing the time it takes to submit payroll from days to a few hours and also reducing the number of calculation errors. It was done through a Django application which was fully integrated with the ERP system. • Worked with other departments, such as logistics, finance, accounting, sales and human resources, with a focus on understanding their needs and finding opportunities to improve the ERP system.

• Developed reports using Crystal Reports and complex SQL queries to retrieve data from Microsoft SQL Server databases and turn into readable and meaningful information. • Gave support to all the company’s departments on how to use the ERP System, found and solved bugs on the system’s routines. • Implemented and maintained a Django application used by the sellers to track their orders and sales.
