Data Engineer

With over four years of hands-on experience in Azure Cloud data engineering, combined with strong expertise in building robust data pipelines, transforming complex datasets, and integrating data from diverse systems, I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively to your team. In my previous role, I designed, developed, and maintained end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and ADLS Gen2. I have successfully delivered complex ingestion frameworks that extract and integrate data from on-prem systems, APIs, email exports, SFTP, and cloud sources, ensuring accuracy, quality, and scalability. My work includes implementing incremental loads, CDC, watermark strategies, error handling, and monitoring. I also bring extensive experience working with Microsoft Fabric, where I have built Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and PySpark-based notebooks to implement medallion architecture and optimise data transformation processes. In addition, I know Snowflake, including Snowpark (Python), notebooks. Previously, I worked across both cloud and on-prem environments, developing and troubleshooting SSIS packages, ADF pipelines, SQL-based transformations, and ensuring stable operations for critical business data. My background in SQL development, data warehousing, and ETL optimisation further supports my ability to deliver high-quality data solutions aligned with business needs.
