Sorry for spreading comments on all communication channels 😅 Posting here what I posted in slack: If I understood correctly #549 allows users to roundTrip the HTTP request with a new host...? So it is used The test added to that PR shows how the host is supposed to be overridden |

Bryan mentioned in Slack that this PR passes even with the deleted field, which made me realize that the original PR adds 2 host fields, one unhidden and another hidden, and WithHosts() only overrides the hidden one.
agreed that the one being removed here isn't needed

Doesn't seem to be used, and it breaks Prometheus Docker SD which also has a
hostfield defined in Yaml.Added in #549
