- actions: pinned to exact git hash
- auto-merge dependabot PRs: prevent actor spoofing, don't auto-merge in forks
- dependabot: 7 days cooldown period for non-security updates, quarterly update also github actions

yes, dependabot handles this nicely, updating git sha and human-friendly version in the comment after it. |
