good catch @x-delfino, that is true, both version (GutHub actions and Azure Pipelines task) share most of the code, and we try to keep the docs in sync (usually copy/paste and update) |

I think the github actions gitversion instructions were copied from the Azure pipelines example so had the incorrect syntax
