i can't breathe half the time. i am drowning in my own life. i have nightmares. i wake up crying. i fall asleep crying.

i have to go to work today. and i like work. the seven hours a week they give me. i need them. desperately. i have no money coming in otherwise. so these meager hours are all i have to keep the cats fed and with litter and all those little stupid things like gas and toilet paper and shampoo.
but i'm so tired. soul tired. i just want to go back to sleep all day instead of deal with anything.

since this all happened at the start of december i've been making due. i still had decent hours then because of it being the holidays. so for the first month or two i paid my own bills. then since then my dad has been helping me. except now my dad can't afford it any more because they took away his disability benefits now that he's 66 and gets social security. so come all the bills that are due at the end of may/start of june i am dead broke.

and i have been busting my ASS trying to find a job. applying for over a dozen places every day. places that i can't even drive to because my car keeps breaking down. because all i ever have is shitty cars that break down. and i'm getting dick in response. i've been looking for months.

people keep trying to give me suggestions. as if i'm not already doing everything i possibly can. everything that is in my power.
and i can't do a fucking retail or food service job. even part time. cause part time still means six to eight hour shifts. and something is seriously wrong with my legs and my health. cause i can't stand on my feet for more than six hours, even with compression socks on. & even if i manage to make it through one eight hour shift i can't do it again for another three or four days after that my feet swell up so bad.

so i don't have my health. friends. family. money. and i'm likely going to be homeless soon with no place for my cats to go.

it would appear that someone hacked my account. got my password somehow. then it appears that they started to make a post, but then realized that they were posting something for -their- journal in -my- space so they left mid post. leaving the draft open on my account.

For the NY Comedy Festival!

I'm so excited! I got my school check back & have a little bit of expendable income. I found a really cheap flight, cheap hotel right in Manhattan, & already have my seats picked out to go see Joel McHale (The Soup, Community), Aziz Ansari (Parks & Rec)!! I might go see Louis CK (Louie, Parks and Rec) & Adam Carolla (The Man Show, Loveline) as well--but probably not. Also, while I'm there I'm hitting up The Met, The Guggenheim, & MoMA - probably Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. So my days will be art museums & my nights will be epic comedy!! I'M SO FRIGGIN EXCITED!!!

Anyone in the NY area that wants to meet up for a drink or something let me know! I'm planning on flying out Thursday November 4th and coming back to Milwaukee early Monday November 8th so I can have the full weekend (plus it's cheaper to leave on Thursday somehow!)

Vampire Diaries--will it be good this season??

• i hate to sound like a total shipper cause so far i'm not really? but it was SO awesome that stefan could tell it was katherine

• even with how successful the werewolves were in true blood? i am still desperately hated the clear werewolf shit that is gonna go down this season

• stefan looks like he's getting anorexic. maybe it's the having to match up to how sexy ian is? big abs to fill

• the music in their episode is either awful or i'm too old

• katherine has an even worse switchover look than superman. big hari = skanky evil vampire?

• i think one of my fav things about this show is how they can make me go from hating damon to feeling sorry for him. i don't think i've ever flip flopped over a character so much!

For those who don't know, Kurt Sutter is the creator/head writer/producer/etc of Sons of Anarchy and Katey's husband. He got some lame ass critiques recently and part of his blog response was as follows. Thought I HAD TO share!!

Sons of Anarchy is not The Shield, it's not the Sopranos, it certainly is not Madmen. If I had to compare it to any other contemporary drama, I'd say it's most like Battlestar Galactica (again, not saying it is as good as Ron Moore's show, just using it as a comparison). SOA, like BSG, is bigger than life. It's steeped in a rich, thematic, costumed mythology, that can barley be contained in its naturalistic setting. It is pulp, it is melodrama. Forgive the pretentious Shakespearean nod, but it is a family tragedy in the spirit of Hamlet and King Lear. It's Leone, not Renoir. Although the characters and relationships are all very real, the circumstances are epic. And I do my best to nail down those players into a very detailed, organic world so the drama can play out in a relatable way.

AWESOME.
