The unity with families, staff, students and the community. Everyone working toward a common literacy goal was absolutely amazing.

What draws me to this program time and time again is the way it brings in the whole community as a part of the reading process.

The highlight of the program would be the excitement that builds amongst all students, grades k-8, as they share conversations, crafts, and theme-inspired lessons on the same topic. Students connect with one another on a level that allows literacy to be the focus, and that is amazing to watch each year.

We love the collaborative learning and how it promotes reading across families and multi-age students. Every title we have selected has been a unique hit, and we believe the quality materials make that possible.

With this program, students and families really dug into the nightly readings. By inviting the entire school's staff into joining the reading, conversations about the trivia questions and content were sparked between students, campus monitors, custodians and office staff as well as teachers and peers.
