Get started with Google Pay™ integration
Overview
Google Pay enables fast, simple, and secure checkout experiences by allowing customers to pay using cards stored in their Google Account.
CentroBill provides a fully managed gateway integration that lets you accept Google Pay payments on your website without handling sensitive card data. CentroBill decrypts the Google Pay payment payload, performs authorization, and applies fraud prevention and risk-based authentication.
CentroBill does not currently provide a hosted checkout solution for Google Pay. You must integrate Google Pay directly into your checkout flow using the Google Pay Web API. Hosted checkout support may be added in a future release.
Supported platforms
CentroBill currently supports Google Pay Web integrations.
Native Android integrations are not supported at this time but may be introduced in future updates.
Supported card networks
CentroBill currently supports the following card networks for Google Pay:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Maestro
No additional card networks are supported at this time.
To enable these networks, include them in the allowedCardNetworks parameter in your Google Pay request.
Security and compliance
CentroBill processes all Google Pay transactions within a PCI DSS-compliant infrastructure. Security controls include:
- Encrypted payload handling
- Secure key management
- Annual production key rotation support
- Multi-key compatibility to prevent processing interruptions
- Continuous fraud monitoring
Note
Sensitive card data is never exposed to you.
