At first I wasn't to thrilled about the idea, but it was actually really fun! Now I want to take adventures in prop planes. Well, adventures that don't involve falling out of the sky.

It's so so good to see everyone. I can remember first meeting Isaac's family and being overwhelmed due to the sheer amount of people. Now it's completely comfortable to sit amongst the chaos of the household. Of course, knowing them for seven years helps.

I really miss seeing these faces all the time. I don't regret moving, I just wish everyone was closer, or we were able to fly out and visit more often.

1. Beatrix learned how to open the step trashcan in the kitchen. The trashcan we specifically bought so a certain blonde dog couldn't get into the trash! Crap.

2. Something very tasty died/was partially eaten in our backyard; the dogs discovered it before me. They thoroughly enjoyed rolling in and munching on the dead animal. (Rabbit?) They found the area under all the snow we got last night and continued rolling in horribly smelly dead animal spot. In addition to a bath, I should probably run a fecal panel on them to make sure they don't have parasites now.

3. I think I found a durable toy for Beatrix! The Chuckle by Busy Buddy. Stuff treats into the sides, dog chews on the sides, treats come out, and it also makes a squeaky noise if shaken. Perfect! She gnawed on it for a while this afternoon and had a lot of fun without destroying it. Best part: it only cost $6!

(It's a fancy schmancy one, too!)

Since I'm stuck here, watching crappy TV on the tiniest television I have ever seen, I updated my EquiSketch app. I really love that app; it's so handy to have all of Madrid's information, training sessions, medical and doctor information, and appointments at my finger tips. I can see our progress easily, too.

Saw Warm Bodies last night with Isaac, Fatos, Monika, and Yuka. (I'll explain who they are another day.) It was a cute movie. Some of the scenes were kind of long, and it felt like they rushed the end a bit, but overall I liked it.

Dryer is done!
