Found using USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM3) driver works well. Plug in a USB to Serial (9 pin) RS-232 Adapter cable to a PG-4S programming cable. Hook them up between the radio and computer.
In the RCV7 program, select View - Options - Port and select COM3, then select Radio - Port Enable. The radio data should populate the RCV7 display. Works great for those TM-V7 radios with a bad display.
Works pretty fine for me. Moved to this one because CHIRP has a known bug and is not loading correctly the offset of split channels. No more problems with this software.
