There is a community called iconscraper that basically takes any publicly available image anywhere on LJ and direct links to those images on that community. No credits or anything is given especially to icon makers.

Go to your Admin Console: http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/
To prevent this for your journal: set latest_optout yes
To prevent this for your communities: set "for" insertcommunityname latest_optout yes

Please note that friends locked and private entries are excluded (thank god).

I have already done this for this community but I would like to ask what everyone as well as aelice & vixias have to say, would you object to this community being friends locked?
