Flu News

If you are in the Baltimore area and broke, this is for you!  I know people who are working hard, but not covered on health care plans, and I think everyone deserves to have medical care when they need it...  But let's not get too political here.  This is just about the flu shot, today.  :-) 

If you want a flu shot (not the H1N1 shot, obviously), St. Joseph Medical Center is providing free flu shots on certain dates.  I got the flyer at work, and I figured it was a good idea to pass along.  I called them, and it's for anyone--not just employees.  I've gotten my flu shot the past few years, and I think it's a good idea.  Not sure about the Swine Flu deal, honestly--I don't like the idea of getting injected with a last-minute vaccine--but this is worthwhile.  If you are without car, it is also accessible from the bus line.

These vaccines are for the seasonal flu ONLY.  High risk individuals are especially encouraged to be vaccinated.  We will vaccinate anyone age 9 and older.  Age 9-17 requires a parental signature. 

All clinics will be held in the Canticle Room.
